BO Universe With Oracle 11g

Hello Guys,

I am stuck in an issue where i need to develop universe with oracle database which is located on another server & my bobj application is on another server. i am trying to connect with Oracle Client but with that i am unable to connect oracle database located on another server.

Can you pls suggest me some wayout to get this work done.

Also along with what Denis mentioned please make sure you can communicate between the database and make sure there is no firewall rules preventing connection..

Also make sure you admin has got the correct entries in TNS.ora file in server for the specific database you are trying to connect to..

Please work with your DBA on installing proper oracle drivers on your machine and on BO server and establishing connection to the DB you need.
