Crystal Report Connection with CRM System

Hello Everyone,

I want to create Crystal Report on CRM System, Can Someone tell me the ways to create it. I have installed Crystal report 2011.

As i know using:

*In crystal report ( Direct connection/Create a new connection -> Sap system, table, Infoset ).

*CRM interactive reporting.

Got this information from SDN only, but did not get exact and complete info.

My questions are:

1st. When i am using direct connection, in available SAP system it is showing some system(Sap BW Systems) , but not that one i want to include. So please guide How to include required CRM system in that?

2nd. What is SAP Integration Kit? Is it necessary to install?

3rd. Which way is the best to create report?

Please help me with step by step process.

Thanks in advance....

    Hi Vaishali,

    1) If you don't see the SAP System in the list, have a look at this thread for the resolution.

    2) The version of CR you're using does not need the SAP Integration Kit to be installed.

    3) Direct connectivity or via ALV as Tammy suggests.

Please check the Crystal Reports installation guide as there are Crystal transports that likely need to be applied in your CRM system for the Crystal connection to work.

The SAP Integration Kit depends on the version and is also covered in the SAP Help documentation

Also check Embedded Analytics as you might be able to use ALV from CRM as a data source to Crystal
