Dear Experts,
I have an issue with SQL collation of Master database.
The collation for Master database is not correct as per SAP's prescriptions but collation of all company databases are correct,
Please advise if it is mandatory to change the Master database collation (as it is very tedious job) as well or is it fine as long as the company databases have correct collation.
Thanks & regards,
Nitin
Hi Nitin,
Specific checks have been added to updates and the wrong collation on the SBO-COMMON database will crash the upgrade to V9PL6 (at least for all the tests I did).
Easier is to uninstall the SQL-Server, then do the correct installation then to re-attach the databases. Two hours...
But as stated by Nagarajan, the correct way to install is well describes in the Installation guide of Business One.
Regards,
Eric
