Hi Friends,
When I was executing an hiring action thru PA40, I got the below error message:
"Edit feature NUMKR for number ranges"......
I have done all the configuration related to number ranges & the same intervals defaulted to the personnel areas of the company in NUMKR feature. I clicked on check button & saved the feature. But still getting the same error. Can any one of you please give some idea what I need to do still?
Thanks Inadvance....

Sreekanth

Hi All,
I just checked & saved the feature "NUMKR". I did not activate the feature that. Now I activated that. Issue resolved.
Thank you all....

Hi Sreekanth,
When you maintained the number range, it has to be assigned as 'External' or 'Internal'. If it is internal, system automatically picks the number range assigned. If it is external you have to mention the personnel number while hiring.
Now, coming to 'NUMKR' feature, the same number range to be assigned to the respective 'PA' or 'PSA' as per the decision parameters.
Check whether you have 'Activated' the 'NUMKR' feature before saving.
Please prvode the Screenshots if possible to understand the requirement more clearly.
Thanks
Madhav.
