need to extract product sales Category

Hi Experts,

I need to extract the product Sales category as shown in attached picture, could you please share with the any calss/FM/table?

I seen COMM_CATEGORY is the table in which this value is stores but I need to pass the value for field 'CATEGORY_GUID', here I am unable to get the proper value. There is one calss CL_CRM_PRODUCT_API with method CRM_PRODUCT_SALES_READ_CATEG which will returning some category_guid value but those are not matching. So how I can get proper category_guid vlaue?

Thanks,

Vij

    Hi Vij,

    Try this:

    1. Read from COMM_PRODUCT to get PRODUCT_GUID
    2. With PRODUCT_GUID and our sales organization data read from COMM_PR_FRG_ROD to get FRAGMENT_GUID
    3. With FRAGMENT_GUID read from CRMM_PR_SALESG to get SALESCAT_GUID
    4. Finnaly, with SALESCAT_GUID read from COMM_CATEGORY to get CATEGORY_ID.

    CATEGORY_ID is your category.

    Best regards.

      Hi Jorge,

the tables provided by you is right one. I found following class with method which will be a direct solution.

The class ‘CL_CRM_PRODUCT_API’ and the method ‘CRM_PRODUCT_SALES_READ_CATEG’ will solve the problem for fetching sales Category data. It also have lot of other methods which can also used for other product related data like hierachies, categories etc like commpr01 Tcode.

here initially my mistake was I passed wrong sales org id, so didn't get the correct results. After Passed the correct details for fields then method given me exact results.

      Thanks,

      Vij
