Hi,

As you mentioned some of the transctions cost center is appearing and some of the transctions is not appearing.

1.Differniate the transction documents in FBL3N  which is having cost center and not having the cost center.

2. if you find cost center is not appearing for interface document ( Like AA-FI, MM-FI, SD- FI) maintain OKB9 settings for default account assignment object -cost center for that cost element.

3. Check the filed status gorup for that G/L ( Cost center field required or optional)

4. Ka02 also you can main default cost center for cost element (Not advisable)

Hi ,

What you had given Tcode is nothing but FBL3N- G\L acct line item disp , where after giving the G\L acct the output will display  asper the layout settings.in application tool bar there is icon called (dynamic selections). and save the layout name and do maintian in selection screen.

as per G\L selection you will get the data. though u had done the same and stil you are not getting means,( costcenter field is empty or is not appearing ) . please check the entries of  docs .

Thanks .

Hi Pavani,

Cost center is a cost object and it is usually posted for P&L account. Check your GL account for which it is not coming.

Hi Pavani,

Cost center is one of CO object, like Profit center, Internal Order.

You assign CO object when you recorded the expense/revenue. It means PL account.

So, change the layout to display all CO object (Cost center, Internal Order, Profit Center...), you will see some transactions which don't display cost center, because of it's entered to another CO object, example Internal Order.

Please check it.

Hi pavani,

Check whether the BSEG-KOSTL is a statistical posting in the line item where you are finding it blank.

Refer to Note 964686, statistical CO account assignments are not relevant for postings of the new general ledger and

are therefore not updated in NewGL
