Initial logon service in net weaver gate way

Hi Experts,

I have a requirement to develop service for user logon in net weaver gaeway, and i have found standard service provided by sap such as initial_logon

here is the path in sicf: /default_host/sap/opu/. can i copy this service, how can i proceed further.

Please help on this would be very helpful.

    Usually after the successful authentication you would require user parameters for your application. For example Date Format, Time Zone etc.

    So I would create a service to return user profile parameters and call it whenever user accesses the application, thus using it as a logon service.

      I didn't find the BAPI_GET_USER_DETAIL in my system and what my req.. is

      logon will be like this

      when we click on log on automatically it will trigger to our application i.e some registration form like that. if we enter log on details wrong it will display error message, how to validate these details with back end details.
