GRC AC 10.0 RuleSet Upload/Download Problem???

Hi,

I have been trying to upload custom rules in GRC AC system. However, I am facing below problems:

1. If I use "APPEND" option and upload new functions (respective details are maintained in Business PRocess file), it is getting uploaded properly.

2.  If I use "OVERWRITE" option and upload new functions (respective details are maintained in Business PRocess file), it is also getting uploaded

     properly.

3. I deleted some of the functions and used both the options, however, the functions are not getting deleted!

4. I modified some of the functions and uploaded using both the options, however, I noticed that the modified functions are added as new and the existing old ones are not deleted!

Anybody is having clear idea about the upload behavior of the system? Please share.

Regards,

Faisal

Prasant,

Thanks for your reply.

Yes, I have noticed and selected both mentioned options for one logical group only (SAP_R3_LG).

Please suggest.

Hello Faisal,

Can you explain how you are deleting the functions ?

Try this: Delete the Risks/functions from front end and Generate all the Risks at backend. Check the function should not be present in table GRACFUNCACT/GRACFUNCPRM.

Then you try to upload.

Let me know the results.

Rajesh,

Thanks for your reply.

I deleted the entries from txt files and saved them. After that, I again uploaded them using "upload Rule Set".

If I delete from front end, yes, it is getting deleted. However, it is with "Upload SoD Rules" that is causing problem.
