PIR issue

Hi,

I created PIR with qty 1 and not able to see in MD04. Consumption indicator given as 3.

I have a sales order in MD04, is this consumed that quantity?

Please explain.

Hi Suresh,

Yes, I believe your assumption is correct. If all the quantity of the PIR have been consumed, PIR is not displayed in MD04/MD05.

Anyway, I suggest you double check this.

Option 1: In MD73, you can display details about which requirements are used to consume a PIR.

Option 2: In MD62/MD63, you can display the consumed quantities on the 'Schedule lines' tab. Menu -> Settings ->Consumed quantity.

HI Suresh,

check in MD73 total requirements if PIR is allocated to sales order. This is dynamic allocation and will only reflect in MD04. Actual reduction/ consumption happens during PGI.

Hi Suresh,

What strategy you are using? Consumption mode is 3 but what is the consumption period? Please maintain the forward consumption period also.

As well check when the PIR got created. If it is in back date, this will not be consumed in this consumption mode.

Lastly check the version of independent req. It should be active
