how continue a cancelled job from that failed step?

Hello techies,

There is a job which got cancelled because the data source was not active.

Now we made that data source active and can you people suggest how to continue that cancelled job from the failed step , because data to other cubes already loaded and I don't want to repeat it again and hence i want to start the job from where it got cancelled.

    Hi Praveen

Please create a copy of the job for this run

Go to change mode ---> and edit the steps part to remove the steps which are already completed in SAP.

This special run should solve the issue.. Let me know if you face any issues in scheduling of the job ..

    Thanks

Are you asking about BW/BI extraction, if you built a process chain, display log and there you should be able to repeat or correct thru process monitor ?

Else use Rishi's solution, copy the aborted job; remove steps already completed and schedule new job for immediate execution.

    Regards,
