Web template - No precalculated data found

I'm trying to precalculate the data in a web template using reporting agent. It is a template with only one data provider that does not require a control query... the input variable screen values can be stored in a variant so it is pretty straightforward. In the setting I asked it to precalculate the data.

The precalculation job runs successfully, but when changing my URL to DATA_MODE=STORED I continue to get the message "No precalculated data found".

Are there any tips you would suggest of things to check? How can one tell if it is working or troubleshoot this?

I checked OSS notes and found some interesting notes but they were for older support pack levels than us. We are on BW 3.5 SP 10.

Thanks,

Chris

I have noticed this too. The strange thing is that if you change the data_mode to hybrid, it will actually get the precalculated data, but for some reason data_mode stored does not. This happens only for templates whose dataProviders have variables. Maybe it has to do with needing to parameterize the URL?

    Thanks,

    Jeff

      HI Jeff,

Thanks for the response. but if try to run with out Variant and datamode= stored it is giving the same Error "No precalculated data found for data provider "

with Hybrid mode the query is executing newly and the datas are uptodate not the Stored value.

Could you please let me know if you have any other option to execute this ?

Does your query has any mandatory variables ready for input? In this case you will have to create variants for these variables in the reporting agent.

Also reporting agent does not support any navigation, so you will not be able to use the context menu or nav block.

    Thanks.
