SRM Process controlled workflow question

Hi,

I have question on process controlled workflow. I have configured 3 level of approval with 2nd level the approver can make the changes. My question is if 2nd level approver changes the SC and I want my shopping cart to start the approval process again from 1st level. Is there any configuration to specify whether shopping cart has to go for approval from 1st level or continue from the approval step.

Also the requester can change the qty of the shopping cart anytime before the final approval. in this case what happen to the approval step.

Please let me know.

    hi,

In my opinion , there is no configuration for the same. IN any case , changes will bring the workflow to restart the approval level.

    Thanks

    Hello,

to manage WF restart, create an implementation for /SAPSRM/BD_WF_PROCESS_RESTART BAdI (/SAPSRM/BD_WF_PROCESS enhancement spot).

Then use VALIDATE_RESTART method from BAdI interface according to your business need.

    Regards.

    Laurent.
