Custom fields- Not able to see data in database

Hi Team,

I have created one new tab with few custom fields,I have added these custom fields to both CSF and CSF_SC Structures thro SPRO and binded the fields to the custom fields. In portal when i enter data in this custom fields and press check it is taking me to BADI- BBP_DOC_CHECK_BADI there i am calling function module - BBP_PD_SC_GETDETAIL to get item data. In lt_item table i can see my custom fileds but there is no data in the custom fileds.

I have given data in portal but still i am not able to see the data. Request you to help me on this one.

Thanks and Regards,

Shakeer Hussain

    HI Shakeer,

You said that you have added new custom tab. So you might have done it via explicit enhancement.

check if the custom fields are bound to item context.

check for the persistence of the values in the fields. are they being refreshed when you enter a value and navigate between various tabs.?

    Regards,

    Karthik.

      Hi,

I have created tab by enhancing webdynpro component, it's not table extension. I have followed the steps which you have mentioned but it's creating one more tab with name Table Extension.

I think that i am missing some navigation or binding.

      Thanks,

      Shakeer
