Reg: Payment Term : Discount if payed before due date(due date is fixed)

Hi All,

There is a requirement to have a payment term, which will have a fixed due date. And if payment is done before this due date discount of 1% is applicable.

We can create the payment term with a fixed due date(using BTE functionality) , But how to achieve the requirement, "If payment is done before this due date discount of 1% is applicable" . Please provide your inputs on the same.

Actually the requirement is as below.

If for the payment term, the due date is 30.04.YYYY .When ever the invoice is posted the net due date would be 30th of coming April Month.(this is possible through user exit).

If payed before that, then there would be 1% discount applicable.

So, I don't think the above config will solve the requirement.

Requirement is to have discount, if payment is made before net due date .

I don't think the standard payment term configuration will suffice, as the number of days are not constant, but dynamic.
