Error Number Ranges 355 " To-year indicator can only be changed if no intervals exist"

Dear Experts ,

We want to expand the number ranges  for object COPA_TRPR currently set as follows (000001 to 999999) at the SNRO transaction, but this is not possible since the number ranges is set to 6 characters (Number length domain = NUMC6) .

So we decided to parameterize the number ranges per financial year by checking the box "To-year flag" at the SNRO transaction. After making the setting the error message NR 355 "To-year indicator can only be changed if no intervals exist" appears.

We have removed the interval 000001 to 999999 but the error message persists.

Do you have an idea to solve this problem. Is there another point of setting that I should delete?
