Background creation on VL10E

Dear all gurus,

May i know that is there any setting to disable the Background creation option on VL10E?

Please let me know why you want to disable that option ?  SAP has specifically provided this option from Release 4.5 keeping in mind the performance that would affect if it is scheduled in "Dialog' mode since system is validating at schedule line level - not even line item.

I think you can gice a try to screen variant in SHD0. I am not sure but may be it will work for you.
