Authorizations for business roles assigned through organization assignment

Hi Experts,

If i assign business roles through organization management,i know that when a user log in to web ui all the business roles associated with the positions he accounted for will be displayed on web ui to chose business role. My question is, is there any way to control the authorizations through this process.

For example, if user A is assigned to positions sales manager and sales employee. When USER A login, sales manager and employee business roles will be displayed on screen. Business scenario is sales manager has authorizations to create sales order where sales employee has only display authorization.

My requirement is if USER A log in with sales employee business role, he should only have display authorization and when he login with sales manager then he should be able to create sales order. Right now, even if USER A login with sales employee, he is able to create sales order.

Is there any way to meet my requirement with out development?

Thanks in advance.

Regards,

Vamsi

    Hello Vamsi,

You can control all these access by copy the desired PFCG role into your BRole. If your are looking for changes only on sales order screen and leaving all other scenario go for development.

    Hope this helps.

    Hi

There is a badi for authority checks .You can search with CRM *authority* where you can write custom code and skip the checks based on business role .

    Hi Tanneru,

I am not sure, but why dont you try to move the 'sales employee' position a level up and try if that solves your problem?

Alternatively, there seems to be some problem with your Sales Employee business role. Seems like it still has got authorizations to create sales order.

As you can see, this logical link might have been "visible" in your sales employee Business role.
