Currency Conversion on KF in Cube Transformations

Hi Experts,

Transformations between DSO-->Cube

Data in DSO

DATE1 DATE2 Material KF1 Currency KF2 Currency KF3 Currency KF4 Currency KF5 Currency Con -KF2 Con-KF3 M1 M2 M3

Con-KF2 should be

Conversion rate between (Source Currency (KF1 Currency), M Type at Date 1,Target Currency (KF2 Currency) (Source Currency (KF1 Currency),M Type at Date 2,Target Currency (KF2 Currency)

Con-KF3 should be

Conversion rate between (Source Currency (KF1 Currency), M Type at Date 1,Target Currency (KF3 Currency) (Source Currency (KF1 Currency),M Type at Date 2,Target Currency (KF3 Currency)

How can I achieve this in Cube Transformation.

    Hi,

    As i understood you are trying to load data from DSO---> Cube while loading based on different dates(date1, date2) you want to do mappings this you can achieve in 2 ways.

    • using the rulegroup concept by creating 2 rule groups one for date1 & other for date2 hope you are aware of this methodology!!!
    • By writing routine in the transformation level you can load your desired format data.

    I would like to address your main concern i.e. currency conversion but unfortunately i didn't get issue you are facing here and even what exactly your requirement please elaborate this 2 points

    so that we can assist you in better way.
