Planned records not created after 2/3 of loan

Hello All.

Happy end of year.

Has any one experienced a case where an SAP Banking Loan has the planned records created for a portion of the term?

When the system reaches the last planed record available in the system for the loan, SAP does not create new planed records for the remaining term?

Any idea's on how to have the system create the planed payment records for the remainder of the Loan term?

Thanks

BBY.

Planned records for principal will be based on effective principal balance. Do you put manually the amount or calculated by system?

You should not put manually amount rather then that system should calculate the same. Basically planned records works on basis of balanced principal amount.

Hello Bobby,

I'm not sure I've understood your reply, but the Loans Module would create planned records until the end of the Term. What might happen is that the CM Period is shorter than the whole Term of the contract. This would lead to planned records for only part of the Loan Term.

Could you please check the amount of years entered in the CM Period? This setting is available under the following SPRO path:

* SAP Banking

** Loans Management

*** Transaction Management

**** Product Types

***** Company Code-Dependent Settings for Product Type

Enter the relevant Company Code and double-click on the desired Product Type. You'll find the CM Period field under the Basic Settings area of the customizing screen.

I hope this helps.
