Can we save view as local object in HANA ?.

Hi to all,

I have a doubt , is that mandatory to create table and view only inside a package.

Can we save them as local object in HANA, as we can do in other SAP system.

You will need to create the HANA information veiws inside a package which are default stored in _SYS_BIC schema..

However you can create tables in any schema you like and do not need a package for tables..

    Hi Pavneet,

Tables have to be created in schemas, under Catalog folder where as views are created in packages under Content folder.

However, when a view(attribute/analytic/calculation) is activated, system creates a column view under _SYS_BIC schema.
