Errors-need help

Hi Experts,

I am having problem creating query for my infocube.i have a heirarchy also. These are my feilds...Cust id,Mat id,sales rep id,sales revenue, price of material..i have a conversion routine for sales revenue..

In my query when i rt. clicked and selected properties i assigned the heirarchy and did "ok" but when i try to run it i see nothing only the column names. and there is one saying unassigned nodes which if i clcik further has some values..but what happened to my heirarchy and it's nodes.?i do have data in my heirarchy.I have done the example from the fufu book. It's like there are 3 regions east, west, midwest and each of them have their offices like atlanta, new york,..etc..and each of these offices have their own sales representative name..

For which char you’ve created a hierarchy, for Sales rep ID? Anyway, if you see your hierarchy structure in hier maintenance, it doesn’t guarantee that your BEx report will look good. The key is a quality of data in the cube.

If you see unassigned nodes in a query, it means that during load data into cube you didn’t provide the value of char on which hierarchy is built.

Check the content of the cube through cube manage or LISTCUBE tcode. You’ll see that the characteristic values are blank. Then revise the cube load process: quality of original data, transfer and update rules.

    Best regards,
