UI Theme Designer on SAP Netweaver Portal 7.4

Hi All,

I am working on SAP Netweaver Portal 7.4. I have got the UI add on, installed and UI theme designer activated as per the below SAP Documentation.

But when I launch the UI Theme designer, I am not getting the "UI5 Control Previews" option. Am I missing any step in activating UI theme designer on Portal?

Any pointer on how to get this option in UI theme designer would be of great help.

The stand-alone UI Theme Designer for SAP NetWeaver Portal isn't an add-on, it comes standard as of a certain Support Package level. The standalone version is meant to replace the Theme Editor in portal and is more restricted in functionality then the UI Add-On version of AS ABAP. That said what base theme are you using? For UI5 applications you have to either use SAP Blue Crystal (mobile) or SAP Gold Reflection (desktop).

I am using SAP Gold Reflection as base theme. But I am still not getting the UI5 Control Previews option.

I believe it is a restriction in the UI Theme Designer for SAP NetWeaver Portal, from SAP note 1890375

"UI5 iViews - not currently supported"

I get the same result on NW731 with UI Theme Designer 1.1.4. The controls exist in the UI Theme Designer that is part of the UI Add-On for AS ABAP.
