Can't connect to Universe...

Dear All,

I'm working on SAP Crystal Reports For Enterprise 4.0 SP4 and I have successfully logged onto my SAP BusinessObject Business Intelligence Platform Server. But I'm unable to connect/retrieve my universe for reporting. I'm facing following error message:

1. what is this error message all about?

2. How should I get rid of the above error message?

Hello Abhilash,

Thank you so much for your quick response.

1. CR for Enterprise is on the same patch level as BI 4.0 which is SP4.

2. I've tried to connect to another universe as well but still encountering same error message.

3. Dashboard is connecting to same Universe successfully.

4. Yes, I'm trying to connect to a .UNX Universe.

What else should I do?

Hi Tariq,

1) Make sure CR for Enterprise is on the same Patch level as BI 4.0

2) Try connecting to another Universe

3) Does WebI connect successfully to the same Universe?

4) I hope you're trying to connect to a .unx Universe
