Developer access in development environment

Hi, we are trying to figure out what a "standard", SAP recommended access in development environment for a portal developer should be. We would like to find out what rights/roles other developers are having in development. Do you have Super Admin or user Admin? Are you allowed to create roles in development. We are very limited in the access we have in development and most of the time it interferes with our development. Please, respond with what is the generally accepted practice in other companies. I posted this in Content Development too - we are trying to get an answer to this quickly. Thanks a lot.

If the content_admin role is not providing all the access required or if the developers are not given the content_admin role, you can assign the users to the Administrators role (which will not bestow any actual worksets but give proper permissions to all admin tasks) then manually create the pages and worksets compiled of the specific pieces of functionality that is desired. You could get the iView id from the info section to know what iView's to put in your custom worksets.
