Best way to access huge tables

Hi all,

I have to make a select with table BSIS. Keys of this table below:

BUKRS

HKONT

AUGDT

AUGBL

ZUONR

GJAHR

BELNR

BUZEI

But, I just have information about 3 of these fields (bukrs, hkont and belnr). I noticed that this table is huge, and, I was told that it's recommended in order to access a table such this, I should enter all the fields in my select (I am not allowed to create a new index).

Can anyone tell me how can I access this table as quick as possible, entering all the fields even if a haven't all of them?

Regards and thanks,

Mario.

    Hey Mario,

In order to access this table as quick as possible, without entering all the fields would be to create secondary index.

But again it doesn't make sense to use only three columns if u can use all the key coulmns and get the result as fast as possible.

    Regards,

      Hi Nikhil,

As I told you above, I am not allowed to create a new index, that's why I ask for a best way to access this table. I've tried to get information with these three fields, but the time of response is very slow!

    Hi Mario -

BSIS is an Index table. I believe you can add GJAHR also to your WHERE condition. Please check with the functional consultant if you can add some more condition to other fields based on the requirement.
