Hi Experts,

We need to generate EWA report monthly once. But the solution manger server will be switched off i.e., it's switching on when required. Could any one please clarify me that SOLMAN server should be switched on 24/7 for generating EWA report or we can switch off the server once the configuration is done and switch on when we required to get the report. Is there any alternative solution for generating EWA report without switching on SOLMAN continuously.

What is the reason for switching it off ..is it temporary purpose

how will you upgrade using Mopz(available in solman) your managed system like ECC etc  without solution manager up and running.

Thanks for the reply. It's not temporary purpose whenever it's required (Upgrading using mopz) we will be switching on the server and the rest of the time server will be off.

Hi Surya,

Check in solman_ewa_admin t.code and active and inactive the report.

Also make a note, when you activate the EWA service only it will start the data collection and get the data from the active date.

Thanks for the reply. In general once the Technical system is added in SOLMAN and all the configuration regarding EWA is done then the report will be generating automatically monthly once. So my doubt is that is it required to switch on SOLMAN server for the whole month to get that EWA report to generate automatically for every month. Please clarify me If we switch off the server once the satellite system is configured for EWA report, will it generate the report automatically even the server is off.
