Updating an ODS

If I load a package from PSA and than to an ODS target, I have the correct amount of records being extracted to PSA but when it comes to the ODS there are less records. Why would this happen? Thanks

    Hi Harpal,

It is possible that records are being aggregated based on your ODS key. In the ODS > Manage > Requests tab you can find out more info.

    Hope this helps...

    Hi Harpal Singh,

Because of aggregate functions, may be reduced number of entries. analyze the data in both PSA and ODS. u could know why it is happening. If key fields are same, based on the aggregate option it will process.

    Hi Harpal,

Apart from the reasons suggested check the update rules if some records are filtered/aggregated based on some condition.

    Hope this helps.

    Bye
