WebDynpro Component Deploy Error

Hi All,

I have created a test webdynpro component and made the SAP J2EE settings to include the IP on which WAS is installed and the port to be 3601.

But,the Remote Engine on the J2EE Engine tab of NWDS in WebDynpro perspective shows N/A and disabled and when I try to deploy and run I get the following error:

20.10.2005 16:35:55 /userOut/deploy (com.sap.ide.eclipse.sdm.threading.DeployThreadManager) [Thread[Deploy Thread,5,main]] ERROR:

[002]Deployment aborted

Deployment exception : Cannot determine sdm host (is empty). Please configure your engine/sdm correctly !

Where could the problem be? Can anyone suggest a way out.

Thanks in advance.

Best regards,

Divya Rao

    Hi Divya,

Is it local installation or remote J2EE ?

Please check weather engine is up&running or not.

    Hi,

Please verify the port once again.

    Open http://host:port/sap/monitoring/SystemInfo

and you can see the MessageServer port information in the above URL.Please check it once again.

    Regards, Anilkumar
