Not able to import from platform

Hie Guys,

I am trying to import a Dashboards 4.0 file from a folder in the DEV Server using "Import from Platform". When I click on the Folder, it does not display the contents of the folder.. However, I am able to open the file when I use "Open from Platform". Can anyone tell me why this is happening? Thanks.

If you are just trying to open a dashboard which is published on BOE you will need to just use Open from platform.

Import from platform is to get the excel data and not the dashboard..Typically if you have correct access setup in CMC to import from platform you should see the files... i will suggest to Check using a admin account and if you can see from admin account then it is most likely something related to security setup for your account..
