how to create an absence type for which absence type should count calendar days

Hi all

Could you please let me know how to create an absence type for which absence type should count calendar days. I have already selected Unit as K while creating absence days and check marked all week days for conditions of the current day in Counting Rule. But when I am creating absence from 3rd January 2014 till 6th January 2014 ,it is showing me only two absence days and calendar days as 4. How can I make the calendar days equal to absence days.
