Scheduling to filesystem - useAutomaticName

I have a web based app that schedule documents to file system. I want to give custom names to files but whenever I am using useAutomaticName parameter, I am getting error

AXBException occurred : cvc-complex-type.2.4.a: Invalid content was found starting with element 'useAutomaticName'. One of '{useSpecificName, inbox, mail, ftp, filesystem}' is expected..

I tried scheduling it without useAutomaticName parameter, but then system is not using custom name instead giving random name to file. Here is my scheduling XML

<schedule>
  <name>rd_ui_schedule_5656_12272013-10545985</name>
  <format type="xls"/>
  <destination>
  <useAutomaticName>false</useAutomaticName>
  <useSpecificName>some_custom_filename</useSpecificName>
  <filesystem>
  <username></username>
  <password></password>
  <directory>\\somedrive\somefolder\</directory>
  </filesystem>
  </destination>
  <parameters>
  <parameter dpId="DP0" type="context" optional="false">
  <id>0</id>
  <technicalName>psAnalysis Date</technicalName>
  <name>Please Enter Analysis Date</name>
  <answer type="Date" constrained="false">
  <values>
  <value>2013-12-27T17:00:00.000-07:00</value>
  </values>
  </answer>
  </parameter>
  </parameters>
</schedule>

    Hi Hasan,

    Please try to schedule your webi document with below response data:-

    <schedule>

    <name>RESTSched1</name>

    <format type="xls"/>

    <destination keepInstanceInHistory="true">

    <useSpecificName fileExtension="true">customTest</useSpecificName>

    <filesystem>

    <username/>

    <password/>

    <directory>C:\UNX</directory>

    </filesystem>

    </destination>

    </schedule>

    The <name/> tag refers here the instance title and if you want to specify the instance name which is copied in the destination directory you have to specify it under destination tag like above.

    Please refer page 314 of SAP Web Intelligence RESTful web service SDK User Guide.

    Hope this helps.

    Thanks,

    Shailendra

      Hello Hasan,

      It might be possible you are doing something wrong at your end.

      What product version with service pack you are using to achieve this?

      Below is the workflow that worked fine in BI 4.1 SP 2 :-

      URL :- http://<server-name>:<port:number>/biprws/raylight/v1/documents/{document-id}/schedules

      Method :- POST

      Headers :- Content-Type: application/xml

      X-SAP-LogonToken:<Your X-SAP-LogonToken within "">

      Request Data :-

      <schedule>

      <name>Name of Instance displayed in CMC History tab</name>

      <format type="pdf"/>

      <destination keepInstanceInHistory="true">

      <useSpecificName fileExtension="true">Name of Instance which copied at directory</useSpecificName>

      <filesystem>

      <username/>

      <password/>

      <directory>//Bipw08r2/unx</directory>

      </filesystem>

      </destination>

      <parameters>

      <parameter optional="false" type="prompt" dpId="DP0">

      <id>0</id>

      <technicalName>Enter Year:</technicalName>

      <answer>

      <values>

      <value>2006</value>

      </values>

      </answer>

      </parameter>

      </parameters>

      </schedule>

      Response Data:-

      <?xml version="1.0" encoding="UTF-8" standalone="yes"?>

      <success>

      <message>The resource of type 'Schedule' with identifier '9778' has been successfully created.</message>

      <id>9778</id>

      </success>

      Hope this helps.

      Share your observations after trying this.

      Thanks,

      Shailendra
