SMP 2.3 Configuration

Hi,

How you guys doing?

I am new on installing SMP product so I have some questions and need some help, since I was unable to find on other threads.

1. Is it possible to install SMP 2.3 with a Oracle DB?(I couldn't get it)

2. I have a SMP 2.3 installed on a server, running fine. I have installed the SAP Cart Approval on my mobile and I am able to make a connection between them but when I open the Cart Approval App it says: Communication Error - Cannot retrieve data; try again. Now my question is:

2.1. Is it a signal that my connection is working?

2.2. Is it returning this error because the Application on server is not configured? (Anyway, how can I get it configured?)

3. The app SAP Payment Approval requires an Activation Code, what is it?

4. Where can I find some guides, since Sybase is kinda hard to understand to me?

5. What would be a resumed step-by-step configuration to get Cart Approval working?

For your questions:

1. Regarding installation of SMP 2.3

You want to install it on OracleDB? I didn't get you.

Check this infocenter document for SMP server requirements

2. In 2nd query, you mentioned you are able to make connection between them. Between what ?

4. 5. You can google about it. Search with " how to configure sap cart Approval" you will get relevant information.

You are trying to configure a SAP standard app. In order to run these apps you need to flow the steps provided in RDS(rapid deployment solutions) documents. These involves add on installations setting up proxy end point url in SAP control center etc.These documents will be available in SAP service market place.

Once you are done with the steps run the application and let me know if you are facing any issues.
