Create BP role 000000 BP General: fields grayed out

Hi

I create (not yet/even change) a business partner in role 000000 Business Partner (general). All fields like Name and Address are grayed out. Any advice what to do in BP customizing? I checked customizing under SAP Business Partner for Financial Services/Field Groupings. The relevant fields are not  in status "not specified". In another system these fields are also with radio button "not specified" but there I CAN edit the fields...

I checked already with Authorization people, I have full access/authorization so it is not my id.

Hi E18,

Click on "Change" button and check. It will allow you to make the changes.

please check your customising in Financial Supply Chain Management> Treasury Risk Management> Basic functions> SAP Business Partners for Financial Services> General Settings> Business Partners> Basic Settings> Field Groupings> Configure Field Attributes per BP Role

Check the BP role 000000 and whether had the fields been set to only "Display". If yes, revert back to "Not Specified".

Hello,

This is not a authorization neither field status issue. Once you created the BP you need to go in edit mode.

It will resolved this issue, When ever you create BP, Once saved it get into grayed mode automatically.

If I go to role TR0151 the non general / company code specific fields such as standing instructions are white meaning I can edit them.

Hi E18,

Don't think its a customizing issue, as soon you the change the BP from Display mode to Change Mode , all fields are changeable ( unless you are NOT authorized).

Please check again and try to do it, if you are getting some error message or so please let us know then.

Hi Aditiya,

I am creating a business partner and already then the Name fields on the first tab page are already grayed / greyed out. I am not in change or display mode. I already checked SU53 log and with SAP authorization consultants and it is not an authorization issue.

Any other advice? Your feed back is highly appreciated!
