SAP HCM to SuccessFactors for compensation Data

Hi,
I have reffered "ConfigPI_10SP02_04_20SP00.pdf" to configure compensation Data from SAP HCM to SuccessFactors. as we dont have Business System for SAP HCM in our landscape, I  have used Business Component. my question is, can i use Business Component instead of Business System for proxy call from SAP HCM? if yes then how would SAP HCM call SAP PI for sending message?

can i use Business Component instead of Business System for proxy call from SAP HCM?

Yes,I think you can connect  using Business Component

just add  In Business Component set adapter specific Identifier for the Sender proxy (Logical System Name, R/3 Sender System ID and Client).

This is Important for the receiver system to receive the message from the Sender System and should be Identical with the Sender System
