Hi Rakesh,

This is basically linked to absence counting, Counting class for PWS to be assigned to valuate attendance/ absence

Check whether the PA/PSA is assigned correctly

IMG Path as stated below

SPRO path is :-Time Management-Time Data Recording and administration-Absences-Absence catalog-Absence Counting-Define Counting classes for Period Work schedule.

If the issue is resolved, request you to clos ethe thread or else feel free to touch base

Hi Anil & Mithun,

Thank you for quick response,

As we have seen Absence Quotas (infotype 2006)detais are given below:-

As the above quota valadity start 01.04.2013 & end 31.12.2013

Deduction started 01.04.2013 & end 31.12.2013

Hi Rakeah,

The updation of quota depends upon on whether you are using Negative time management or positive time management scenario.

There are various ways such as,

1. Manual entry in 2006 infotype where you enter the quota balance against the quota type.

2. You can T.code PT_QTA00 for generating the quota.

3. You can use PT60 T.code and generate the quota.

Hope this solves the issue.

Hi Rakesh,

Fine if you are in positive time management you will be using PT60 for running the time evaluation where you will be entering the schema and personnel number and executing the program.

Carry forward option is not possible if you are generating quota through RPTQTA00 program. In case if you want to test a scenario in your case if you want to generate a quota for an employee from 01.01.2014 - 31.12.2014 as you are using RPTQTA00 program please find the screen shot below and generate the quota and try entering a value in 2001 infotype,

Hope this solves the issue.

1.How to carry forward the quota of employees?

2.Client are using positive time management & using PT60 Time evaluation

Evaluation schema-ZM00

Time statement variant-SAP&TEDT

Layout for log-

Forced recalculation as of-

where can we put the start date & end date?

We would like to generate the quota for year 2014 + carry forward quota 2013(if any balance)

Hi Rakesh,

The Carry forward can be achieved through the PCR's which will be embedded in the schema ZM00 i hope it is there. Coming to the Start date will be automatically taken into account based upon the  PDC recalculation date maintained in the 0003 infotype against the employee number.

You can also enter the start date from which you want to execute in the field Forced recalculation as of and the Evaluation up to corresponds to end date. Other fields whatever data you have entered is fine.

Usually if you are using positive time management time evaluation will be on monthly basis.

Mithun K

Check the groupings once again and Counting Class V_T556C , Deduction rule V_556R_B V_T551C Assignment of counting class with DWS

Hi Rakesh,

I think you have not maintained the counting class entry in the table V_T551C against the Personnel subarea grouping for Daily work schedule and Period work schedule.

Since while defining the counting rule for the absence type in table T556C you will be selecting the counting class for period work schedule as shown below,

Since the counting class selected here in counting rule is not existing the table V_T551C for the work schedule GENL and Personnel subarea grouping for work daily work schedule 40 the error is occuring for you in 2001 infotype.

Hope this solves your issue.
