Hi,

I am working on Crystal reports for Enterprise 4. The format of report I have is as shown below:

Billid:1

Activity1

Activity 2

Activity 3

Req1 count         1212

Req2 count          345

So on

Req1 count         178

Req2 count          999

|

|

|

|

|

|

So on

Req1 count         984

Req2 count          849

|

|

|

|

|

|

|

|

So on

There is Goup on Billid.so there are n-Billid's and the table iterates for each bill id. Now, the actual report shows, BillID 1 and rest of the page is blank then 2nd page contains the table for Billid 1. again 3rd page Billid 2,rest of the page blank and 4th page shows table of Billid 2 and so on.

So, to conclude there is blank page after each group. I tried all possible things to avoid page break and all. But in vain. Please let me know the reason and solution if any for this issue.

Regards,

Hi

Right click on Group Header and go in Format Group Header, then you will see below screen :

Just check Page Break Before / after checked or any formula (fx) written.

Thanks,

Sastry

Hi,

Just go to structure section and work on reducing the box size or say line length,

I mean page is breaking so just make it fit to the page.

Hi Anushree,

Go to the properties of the Details Section and see if there is an option called Keep Together or Avoid Page Break.

Also check if the option New Page After has been selected for Group Header.

I don't have CR for Enterprise in front of me now so the options might be a little different.

Maybe this will help:

Right-click the Body section > Format Section > Paging > Check the option "Avoid Page Break".

Similarly, go to the Group Header setion > Select Format Group Header > Paging > Check "Avoid Page Break in Group".
