Hi Experts,
I am using 0EMPLOYEE for reporting purposes. In 0EMPLOYEE I have CTC as an attribute (display attribute since it is a key fig). Now the problem is when I use 0EMPLOYEE in a cube the data for CTC is not visible even though the attributes are visible. Can anyone please guide me to the cause of this problem and how to resolve it.
Dear Soumya,
You cant use a key figure as navigational attribute.
If you want to display CTC (Key figure and Attribute of 0Employee) in report level, than you can use formula variable to get the value of CTC at Bex query level.
Thanks,
Balaram

Hi all,
Thanks for your help. I have already used formula variable option using replacement path. However when I display the CTC data 2 lines come for the employee from 0EMPLOYEE, one for 0EMPLOYEE and another for the cube under the multiprovider. What I need to do is display 1 line for each employee, both for employees in the cube and from 0EMPLOYEE regardless of not assigned (#) values.
Thanks everyone once again for your help.

MP behaves likes this only. You will get two lines. To get in single record, either try with Constant selection or you should use Infoset with proper joins. Then you will get single line.
I have another idea other than formula variable.
Add CTC KF to your Cube and in your transformation-->Read master Data-->From the Attribute of 0EMPLOYEE
Hence you can see CTC in your Cube itself instead of in BEx.
Hi Soumya,
Need to create Formula variable through Replacement Path for CTC.
1. General : processing by replacement path and Reference Char : 0employeee.
2. Repalcement path : replace variable with : IObject, replace with attribute value , attribute : CTC

Make CTC as Nav Attr in 0employee. Hence you will get that while displaying cube data.
Sorry, i over looked it. You can't mark it as Nav Attr. Thank you Balaram for rightly pointing out.
