Maintain different Risk Categories under one Credit Control Area

Hi,

I have below configuration maintained in TCode OB45 in SAP:

The default Risk Category for above Credit Control Area is maintained as 'NEW'; so whenever a new customer is created in the Company Code, it defaults the risk category as 'New' in Customer Credit Master Data(TCode FD32) under the above 'Credit Control Area'(which is assigned to Company Code).

Business requirement: is to default another risk category say 'X' for a certain customer Account Group instead of for all Account Groups. Since, this is standard SAP, is there a way to default this 'Risk category' only for a certain Account Group and keep the same(in the above case 'NEW') for all other account groups.

    Hi,

As per my understanding, there is no specific configuration which could lead to expected result. However, I think that it can be achieved with enhancement in function modules such as CREDITCONTROL_INSERT_DEFAULT. I am not aware of other FMs. However, you can check in this FM with the help of your team.

You might restrict the output based on Account group/no. range.

    Regards,

    Gaurav
