Dear Prabhakar,

Hope u r doing gr8 .

E-rcruitment can be run two ways .

One is Integrated Scenario : E-REC and HR Component are on same system

Second is standalone Scenario : E-Rec is on different System .

Here you can get details regarding SAP E-recruitment .

http://help.sap.com/saphelp_erp60_sp/helpdata/en/45/8150635e9c40c1e10000000a1553f7/content.htm

2 . To check standard Configuration at backend , you should have atleast display rights of SPRO .

SPRO->SAP E-recruiting and here you go .

A.) One is Technical Settings from where all Technical Configuration is possible like Search Engine ,          Workflows, E-recruitmet Services etc .

B.) Basic Settings are simple one about Languages to be used, attachment types, ststuses etc .

C.) Talent Warehouse is all about Candidate - education , Work Experience, Qualifications etc .

D.) Applicant Tracking is all about Applicants and there applications, questionnaires to be asked,                application sources,  activities to be used in Process .

E.) Requisition Management is all about Requisition , Job Posting, Posting Search etc etc .

F.) Apart from this there are few more activities like Creating Users, Assigning them Proper roles and          authorization( actually, this is handled by BASIS ) .

3.) To raise a requisition from Portal End  ? It is done by two ways :

Generally standard configuration and i-views are given by SAP , so in that case there is no need  .

Requisition can be raise by two ways  :

A.) Manager Initiation : Requesting Manager Initiates Requisition , Chief Manager approve/reject requisition, it goes to lead Recruiter which can  then create job postings and publish it .

B.) Recruiter Inititation : Recruiter Can create and perform the processing .

For Manager Requisition : HCM forms are used for which there is T-CODE  "HRASR_DT" , Configuration can be done from here .

Rest there are standard Roles deleiver by SAP , i.e. RECRUITER, E-REC ADMIN , ESS->Career and job, MSS->Recruiting etc .

4.) TREX is a search Engine . It is used to Search Requisitions, Job Postings,Candidates .

Yes, it is provided by SAP, but you need to do Configuration of TREX . TREX is another server          which is communicated with E-REC Server  . SO there is need to do its configuration .

Plus , you should also know about versions, enhancement packages  .
