Hello Gurus
I have this problem where the server ip becomes unreachable when I start SAPBCM service. Now I am trying to undo some configurations or even delete VUs. However I cannot do so without starting SAPBCM service.
This is the HAC log I have:
04:05:50.204 (03348/WebSiteMonitor ) INF> Monitoring action failed: HTTP: none of the server addresses are locally assigned. IIS failure: Site not found
04:05:50.422 (01808/SystemManager ) ERR> ELEMENT [BCM00] ID [5]: None of configured 1 adresses are found
04:05:50.422 (01808/SystemManager ) ERR> ELEMENT [BCM00] ID [5]: Address 172.xx.xx.xxx not found
04:05:50.438 (01808/SystemManager ) INF> ELEMENT [VU_BCP_Q_Integrations WS OII] ID [111]: State instabilized due to local monitor failed
04:05:50.438 (01808/SystemManager ) INF> ELEMENT [VU_BCP_Q_Integrations WS OII] ID [111]: State has stabilized
04:05:50.438 (01808/SystemManager ) INF> ELEMENT [VU_BCP_Q_Reporting_DB WebClient] ID [122]: State instabilized due to local monitor failed
04:05:50.438 (01808/SystemManager ) INF> ELEMENT [VU_BCP_Q_Reporting_DB WebClient] ID [122]: State has stabilized
04:05:50.641 (01808/SystemManager ) ERR> ELEMENT [BCM00] ID [5]: None of configured 1 adresses are found
Any solution for resolving this situation?
Merry Christmas
Kelvin
Hi,
You can delete VUs and HAC in ofline mode, no need to start BCM services.
Do you have multiple active network cards in server? Have you run tracert after activating BCM service? Windows is so stubid that it cannot allocate IP to correct NIC in case there is multiple networks connected to server - it is just randomly picking the NIC. To solve this in BCM you have link VU to correct NIC. How to can be found from example installation.

Jukka

Hello.
What do you mean exactly by SAP BCM service? Any picture will help.
