Internal Error /SAPAPO/SCMB_PSTRU_PLOB_TEMPL

I tried to generate CVC using /SAPAPO/MSDP_ADMIN and had following error.

Internal Error /SAPAPO/SCMB_PSTRU_PLOB_TEMPL=>RAISE_EXCEPTION_FRO

Message no. /SAPAPO/SCMB_PSTRU000

What is the solution for this error?  We cannot generate characteristic combinations.

We are using

SAP SCM 7.0

SAPKB70107 SAP Basis Component

SAPKA70106 Cross-Application Component

Hello Kenichi,

I am making a few assumption like

- Your MPOS is created and activated.

- Your Planning Area is created, activated and Time series is initialized.

Now to create CVCs why don't you use below option, this is most commonly used option to create the CVCs.

To generate the CVCs using Tcode : /SAPAPO/MC62 or using this program :

/SAPAPO/TS_PLOB_MAINTAIN.Once CVCs are generated, please run /SAPAPO/TS_LCM_PLOB_DELTA_SYNC to do Adjust Time Series.

It is good practice to check Consistency Check of Planning Area and MPOS routinely.

/SAPAPO/TS_LCM_CONS_CHECK - For Planning Area

/SAPAPO/TS_PSTRU_CONS_CHECK - For MPOS.

Hello Satish,

Thanks for your help.

I found the root cause.  If text data contains small letters, we got error.  After change to capital letter, CVC could be created.

The number range inconsistency for the concerned dimension has to be corrected.

1. Start transaction RSRV

2. Open "Tests in Transaction RSRV"

3. Open "All Elementary Tests"

4. Open "Transaction Data"

5. Doubleclick on check "Comparison of Number Range of a Dimension and Maximum DIMID", the check is selected on the right side

6. Open the check on the right side

7. Select the name of the Infocube to be checked - this is the name of the POS

8. Push button "Execute"

9. After check execution the log will appear, if there are red traffic lights number range inconsistencies have been detected

10. Go back and push button "Correct Error", this will adjust the number ranges

Afterwards CVCs can be created again.

I already tried following actions but nothing changed.

1)Go to SE38=>/sapapo/ts_pstru_gen, enter your POS name.

2)Run it with "Basis - form routines" and set 'Reset generation time stamp' and also 'Generate'.

3)Run it with option "Create planning objects" and set 'Reset generation stamp' and also 'Generate'.

4)Go to /sapapo/msdp_admin => right button on POS => Activate.
