Data Manager Package Aborts Abruptly

Hi All,

We are currently on SAP EPM 10. When we trigger a Data Manager package it gets aborted after few seconds. We have checked following before raising this post.

1. The transformation file, conversion got validated successfully.

2. We dont have any start or end routine being called in the transformation file.

3. When we perform simulation in transformation file it goes in fine.

4. The DM package executes fine for smaller chunks of data whereas when huge volume is being picked it gets aborted. When we say huge volume we have only 9L records.

5. After repetitive iteration found that if the record count crosses 50 thousand then DM package gets aborted whereas if the count is less than 50K it executes successfully.

6. The same DM package works fine in development system whereas in quality system we are facing this issue.

Please share your thoughts on this issue and Kindly help us out as this is crucial for our go live and we are short of time.

what package are you trying to run? Is it a standard one or customized one , if a customized one then you would set this value in the process variant inside the corresponding process chain in transaction RSPC.  But if it is a delivered process chain, then most likely the value is set already.

There is a transaction code to check if there is any issue with BW cube. If there is any issue with BW cube.
