Stock is not showing ...

Hi experts ,

I'm facing a peculiar problem . I've made two materials - by using MB1C , I did initial stock upload . When it finished , a material doc. was generated .

But , when I was trying to display stock for respective material by using MMBE - it showed , the plant doesn't have any stock for that maetrial .

When , I did using MB51 to show mat doc which was generated at the time of doing MB1C  - it's clearly , showed it movement from plant to interim storage type ....

my question is - after doing mb1c , why it's not showing in plant level ? ....

attached two screen shots ...

As says , In OMS2 if we activate at plant level then it will appear in the MMBE.

That is the only way .

Hope this answer is useful to you .

If you require more than this  , pls let me know

as Jugren sir said , I've check its material type's " quantity / value " update area - but , it shows all the check-boxes are on for that plant / valuation area .... i tried again with MB1C - but , not showing in MMBE .........

now , what's the way to solve it out ?

my plant / valuation area - AP00 , mat. type - ASDF

Why is this marked as PIPEline ? Pipeline material does not create stock.

From my point of view this is a conflicting setting.

Cancel your initial stock entry, then unflag the Pipeline boxes in OMS2, then redo your 561

Jugren sir ,

after using MBST to cancel initial stock entry , and made un-flagged of two pipe-line check box in OMS2 , again did MB1C - but stock is not get showing at MMBE ....

Jurgen Sir ,

First of all , Happy Merry Christmas to you ...

I think it could be making problem in plant level while all the settings is okay , then why stock is not showing at MMBE level ?? ...

there is any tcode / menu path to show different variables of plant level ??

does this only happen to this one material or to any material in the whole plant, or just any material of the same material type?

can you open such material document in MIGO and add screenshots from any detail tab.

Hi

cross check your entry with MARD table,

see sap note  982345 - FAQ: stock overview MMBE

also check LX02 report

Thanks,

Hi,

your screens shows 3 entries of 561 and 562 each, which nullify each other,

did you post entry after Jurgen's suggestion to remove the tick mark in pipeline

kindly confirm,

Thanks

KJ & Jurgen Sir ,

sorry for late reply . actually , checked with MARD table , but it showed its stock as " restricted" one ...

I've already un-flagged pipeline check box option in OMS2 ...

then , to remove " restricted" status from stock . I did MB1B with 343 mvt. type - but , didn't happen .

Moreover , whenever I'm going to do stock upload with 561 , the system takes stock as " restricted" as default - why it behaved so ?

In batch status managment it is customized that restricted stock is the initial status

can you post screen which Jurgen asked in previous post

Jurgen sir ,

could you tell me how will mark it as un-restricted in batch status management ? ... actually , I don't know how to proceed ...

in transaction OMCT  it is the forth button for initial status.

per plant you define the initial status. if the box has a X ,then the initial status is restricted. without X it is unrestricted

Jurgen-Sir ,

Thanks a lot - got the result as your advice... but one thing - the stocks which are already stored as restricted ( by default earlier setting in material type ) , how could I get it back to as un-restricted ? doing MB1B with mvt. type 343 ?? ...

go into MSC2N and switch the radio button to unrestricted

sir ,

after using MSC2N , change the radio but from restricted to unrestricted .... but , stored material's status is not changed /updated at all - it shows same as " restricted" ...

do you see a movement in MB51? Such change should automatically create a movement in the background.

Sir ,

That incident I'm quite concern about ....

but sir , my question those stocks which was earlier stored as " restricted " status for radio button on restricted flag in OMC2  for that material type , how will I moved back those stock with " un-restricted " status ?? using any movement type in MIGO / MB1B ?? ...

it would be movement 342, you can try in MB1B, but I think you would need to assign MB1B as allowed transaction in OMJJ first. As this movement is supposed to generate automatically from MSC2N.

in transaction OMS2 select your material type, then click the folder on the left

for  quantity/value update and check for your plant, the quantity update should have a radio button.
