Modified business view, how to save for report?

Hello.

I have a 2008 Crystal report built on a business view that needs to change. I modified the business view using the business view manger, and it now contains the business elements I need. The report still sees the elements from the old business view, however. How do I get the changes I made in the business view manager to appear in the report?

Thanks for your help,

-Beth

    Hi Beth,

Have you tried Verify Database from the Database menu?

Yes, we ended up with a huge mess and restored the views from an older system.

There were problems with the sequence in which the updated items were deleted and recreated.

We're basically not supporting changes to business views at all and using ODBC to connect instead when a report based on a business view needs its datasource changed.

      Thanks for your response,

      -Beth
