Hi guys,

I have a problem with my SBOMailer and the .net...

I want to configure my SBOMailer with the following information:

But when I click in "ok" the aplication crash and close with the following error: "SAP Business One has encountered a problem and needs to close. Sorry for the inconvenience."

When I select the SMTP Client: See4C the error don't happen, but than I can't send e-mail...

I removed and reinstalled the .net, the Server tools and I installed the windows and the .net updates.

I tried everything but still the same error, I don't know what can I do...

My system configuration is:

Windows server 2003 R2 Service pack 2

SQL server 2008

.net framework v4.0.30319

B1 9.0 PL08

Can someone help me?

Thanks a lot

I solved my problem !

I realized that the problem occurs only on windows server 2003, that was my case.

When I updated my windows to Server 2008, the problem don't happened again.

Thanks all for the help.

Thanks Eric....

I have this error:

Just with .net can I send e-mail with this configuration...I sincerely thinking of formatting this server.

Hi Everton,

I had a hard time to make it work for a customer... Basically his redirector was open and didn't need any credentials.

Speaking on that one: at least with See4C (haven't tested with .Net), user which is connecting is a technical user (user which have access to the mail redirection service) not a user accessing a mailbox.

I'll test with gmail this morning, to see what's happening...

Hi Everton,

I did some tests and because unsucessfull, I Googled for some hints and found this:

(look at Son Tran Val's answer, which describes the note N°1791636)

Basically, it's a current limitation for the existing versions of B1 and you won't be able to send mail thru Gmail.

Hi Eric,

with See4c is known that we can't send email through Gmail...

But with .net it's possible...so much so that I send an e-mail in another server...

The problem is that the Service manager crashes when I try save the information...

But it is a problem with windows/.net...

I will format this server...than re-install the B1

Thanks for the help...
