Automatic refresh before use option not available in IDT in 4.1

Hello All,

I am on SAP BO 4.1, SP1 and using IDT for building universe on Netezza.

I am not getting below options in my IDT.

Automatic refresh before use

Allow users to edit list of values

What could be the issue? Is it any configuration issue on server or any parameter?

Please let me know.

These options are not available in BI 4.1 which is by design. Check the KBA below for more info..

Thanks Mishra.

But it seems, even though prompt is mandatory it is not automatically refreshing the LOV's in my report especially when ever I give default values. Any alternatives for that in 4.1 to make use of default value and at the same time LOVs get automatically refreshed as users open the report.

This is again by design in BI 4.1. If you have setup a default value it behaves as a optional and does not refresh automatically rather user has to manually click the refresh button.

I will suggest to create a SAP incident if you need updated info if this behavior is planned to be changes in any future releases.
