Impact Of eCATT Version Upgarde From 3.1 To 3.2

Dear All,

There is a query related to version upgrade of eCATT from 3.1 to 3.2. The Web Application Server is 6.20 with Patch level 46.

What will be the impact of the version upgrade of eCATT to the already existing scripts which were developed in version 3.1. Will there be any changes? If so, please give the details.

a version 3.1 or 3.2 of eCATT tool is not defined nor existing.

eCATT as a tool is versioned similar to the web application server it is running in, in your case 6.20 support package 46.

I assume you are talking about Solution Manager.

Since both Release 3.1 and 3.2 of Solution Manager run on SAP Web Application Server 6.20, eCATT will be exactly the same in the new release as it was in the old.

Thanks for the reply. Yes the solution manager is getting upgraded from version 3.1 to 3.2. So I just wanted to know the impacts of this upgrade on the existing scripts. Will they run smoothly as earlier.

Again with this version upgrade, what new features will be available into eCATT.

I guess I interpreted the reply of Jon correctly. And he also got that it seems.

I was just asking again the new feature of eCATT, if any, will be added to with upgrade to Solution Manager from version 3.1 to 3.2.

nothing (!!) will change in eCATT when the Solution Manager is upgraded from version 3.1 to 3.2.
