Node type "segment group" and "segment" not appearing in DME tree

Hello community members,

I am creating a DME tree for payment output file generation. I can insert "element", "atom", "attribute". But I am not getting option to insert "segment group" and "segment" in the tree structure.

Please help.

   Kindly try creating the segment using Right Click .

Only the node types mentioned in the query are available in the right click.

Hi,

If you are creating the DME file in XML format then Segment /group won't appear in selection. If the output is of format textpad then only segment/group option appears. This is SAP std.

Are you creating XML format or Text format.

this option is available in Text format DMEE only as below.

In XML Format you can only create Element, attribute, Technical Node and Atom..
