Activation of IS-PS-CA requires upgrade to the following component versions + SAP ERP6.0 EHP7

Hi Experts,

In our project we have installed ERP 6.0 EHP7. I want to activate the Industry Extension Public Sector (IS-PS-CA).

When activating through T code SFW5, I am getting an error that version of industry extension IS-PS-CA is not compatible with other component versions installed. (Error screenshot attached)

It is mentioned in the error that Component IS-PS-CA of Release 617 should be present.

But in the system component version, it is showing that IS-PS-CA is present of Release 600 with Level 0023.

Can someone tell me as to why I am getting this error when there is a higher version of IS-PS-CA installed?

Thanks in advance,

Anwesha

    Hello,

As I understand, current release of IS-PS-CA in your system is 600 and you are trying to activate this Industry function. Then the error message that you are getting is correct. If you are trying to activate any industry extension in EHP7 system then you need to upgrade that Industry extension to EHP7 release as well. By default in a new system installation, only central component i.e. SAP_APPL and EA-APPL comes on EHP7 release.

    Thanks,

    Sunny
