Soon we need to process the files which has Thai text also. I have changed the field setting as multi  lingual - yes. still i could face some errors like Field x could not convert the value. Can any one help me ASAP.

Dear Vinoth,

You Have to first make repository multilingual.

Go to server node in your Console and choose the repository and add Languages as Thai[TH].

Now when will you make any field property as Multi-Lingual =YES .during import you can map the thai description from source to Thai description in destination.

Hi Vaibhav,

Thanks for the suggestion. Here i m facing some issue in mapping. In a single record some fields will have data in Thai and some fields will have their data in English. WHen i selected multilingual - yes, im not able to map a single field from source to the same fileld in destination but with two languages,  ie field 1 in english and field2 in Thai. if i did not give multilingual, will it solve the issue? will the repository accept both languages?

Thanks

Dear Vinoth,

As you are saying some of the records contain data in English and Some has Data in Thai.

If its the case you can  make multilingual =No and other languages will come to the same destination field .

But if you have some records which contains data both in English and Thai this option won't work .You have to use Multilingual Yes for field.

Please check the configuration option for mapping.

Hi Vaibhav,

We are facing with an issue. A record which comes first with data in Thai has chances of coming again in English via same interface. Please suggest me the way to sort it out. Help me out in mapping the field, bcoz for 1 source field im not able to map 2 language fields in destination.

In configurations also i have marked as you suggested.

Dear Vinoth,

You can clone the source field and map it to the destination field if you want same source value in both the destination field EN and TH .if you are expecting different values in destination fields you have to use a source file structure which contain both language field values for mapping.

Thanks Vaibhav.

Can you help me out in understanding how to clone a filed? do u mean to create a new field manually or is there any settings to do that?
I have one more question. i have added thai in addition to english in my repository. can i perform match and merge for the records which are in thai? will i the results be positive like we get when we do match and merge for the records in english?

Thanks
